Western Development Museum |
Step back in time and experience the story of Saskatchewan's agricultural and rural life at the Western Development Museum's Heritage Farm and Village. On 100 acres this outdoor site features a village with more than 30 homes and businesses representing the boom years of the 1920's. A farmstead provides exciting opportunities to plant and harvest crops and to raise farm animals using the tools and techniques of the 1920's era. An original Saskatchewan Wheat Pool elevator built in 1928 and the 1913 railway station serve as reminders of early farm and grain marketing stories.

Fort Battleford |
|
The North West Mounted Police established Fort Battleford at the junction of the Battle and North Saskatchewan rivers, an area rich in Indian and fur trade history. The Fort, contstructed in 1876 played an important role in the settlement of the West. Today, you can tour original buildings and view artifacts depicting the life of a Mountie back then and the pivotal role they played in the settlement of the west.

Fred Light Museum |

The museum offers a glimpse of old Battleford when the settlement was the first seat of Territorial Government. The museum offers a collection of artifacts in theme rooms housed in a 1914 school house. The Gun room contains one of the most comprehensive collections of firearms in Western Canada. A replica of an old general store complete with oak counter, paper roll and string characterize the Store Room.

This restored 1908 CNR Station represents Battlefords first access to the rail system and has been converted into a restaurant. Sit, relax and enjoy fine dining in the heart of historic Battleford. |

Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum |

Celebrate the rich baseball history of Saskatchewan. This museum contains over 4,000 artifacts including photographs, papers and other donated items. More than 250 individuals, close to a dozen teams, and one community have been inducted in this Museum.

North Battleford Sports Museum and Hall of Fame |

Is located in downtown North Battleford. This Museum features pictures, trophies and history dating back to the 1900's about sports in the Battlefords and Area.

North Battleford Golf and Country Club |

Lunch will be at the scenic North Battleford Golf and Country Club. It is one of the top golf courses in Saskatchewan and overlooks the North Saskatchewan River. After lunch you will head out for a round of golf on our 18-hole championship course. |

Battlefords Wildlife Federation Nature Centre |
|
The Battlefords Wildlife Nature Centre is located at the base of King Hill adjacent to the Goose Project. It contains a large exhibit of taxidermy specimens and information on the flora and fauna of the area. A remote camera is located on an island in the Battlefords Goose Project and can be accessed from the Centre.

The Crooked Forest |

The Crooked Forest is located a short drive northeast of the Battlefords. This unusual grove of trees have puzzled people of the area and scientists alike and are worth a visit.

Redberry Lake |
Redberry Lake is a World Biosphere Reserve where 200 bird species are found including the rare American White Pelican.
